Digital Marketing Programmes

AfM offers two digital programmes, both of which can be studied as part of a professional qualification, award or for personal development.

Each programme is delivered by Karen Ainley, Chief Executive of Colchester-based Mosaic Publicity, who has an MSc in Digital Marketing. Karen is a former newspaper, radio and TV reporter who has been working in digital marketing for 15 years. She also holds the Google Analytics Individual Qualification.

Digital Marketing

This programme is an appreciation of the importance of the ever-evolving, dynamic digital landscape, and helps to understand how to develop skills to improve digital marketing effectiveness. It also offers an awareness of the nature of the challenges and opportunities within the digital environment and outlines the skills and tools required to support and improve marketing activities. Finally it considers the importance of effective digital monitoring and measurement techniques that enable organisations to improve digital marketing effectiveness performance.

Who would benefit?

The programme is suitable for people in junior marketing roles (eg marketing executives) or those who wish to develop their knowledge through a short intensive programme.

Digital Strategy  

For many organisations digital marketing has evolved from a set of tactical actions into a significant element of overall strategy. This programme will provide you with an in-depth consideration of digital marketing capabilities that can be embedded within a strategic marketing planning framework

The programme provides an understanding of how an analysis of the macro- and microenvironments can enable organisations to assess the impact of the disruptive digital landscape in delivering objectives, in order to develop strategic recommendations. It explores how creating digital marketing mixes can enable organisations to respond with agility to market needs. Finally it examines how the management of digital channels and the application of key digital measures help to achieve business objectives

Who would benefit?

The programme is suitable for people in marketing roles where digital is an increasing aspect, or wish to develop their existing basic or practical knowledge.

Number of Delegates

Each programme has a strictly limited number of delegates in order to offer individual support.

The programme takes place over two days (one full weekend) in Colchester.

Costs

Cost: £575 for personal development, or upgrade for £100 to an award or as part of a qualification. Fees include text book, tuition, (tutor support where taken as part of an award), refreshments including lunch.

Additional fees are payable to CIM for membership (£50), assessment (£130) and award (£50 which is not payable when taken as part of a qualification).
